Ohh. Man.

So...
I had an eventful evening. I hid in what looked like a snow volcano, almost rammed into a car that had just rammed into another car and...I wish I had a interesting third thing to put here, but I don't. I guess that makes this a eventsortaful evening. :P Anyway...it was an adventure just the same.
Due to the fact that my lovely city was once again snowed upon, snow plows have been making some fun structures. After Tae Kwon Do tonight, Courtney and I were waiting for her friend to come and drop something off and we decided that instead of being in my warm car in her driveway, perhaps it would be fun to hide in the high-walled circular snow thing that was in the middle of the cul-de-sac. Let me tell you folks...my cloth Rocket Dog shoes were not made for the climate in which I was placed. In any case, we waited and got very close to going back to my car when the car came. We hit the snowy ground, well, I did....probably more dramatic than I needed to be...but it was an adventure, what can you do... :P In the end, it wasn't so very surprising... oh well. :D
So with that, I thought I would just head on home, no more adventures could possibly be held this night. Alas, I was mistaken. It's hard to try and recall what exactly happened so some of this is purely speculation, but. I was at a red light, waiting and waiting. The light finally turned and I started along my usual path home. Suddenly, I heard a THUD. I turned my head only to see that I was getting rather close to the car in front of me and the car in front of it was stopped. "That," says my shocked brain, "is an accident, Janna! BRAKE!!!!!!" So I braked. Hard. I tried to turn my wheel too, but it must have been too slippery to move any way other than straight. Thankfully, my car stopped. Much to close to the other car in my opinion...but at least I didn't hit it. All I can say is praise God!!! Slowly I crept around the car and flashed the teenage girl a look of sympathy before resuming my trek home. Uffda.

In other news I got an ipod. It's an ipod chromatic and it is a very lovely shade of blue.

Our youth group is putting on a dinner theater on Sunday, and I'm excited for that!!

And a Happy 2009 To You All

Well, here we are. 2009. :)
Amazing...I came back and I couldn't remember what I was supposed to click to write a new weblog post thing.
But! Life is going along at its usual crazy yet fun pace while I try and stay up to it. Alas, I am the last child in this household...although I've gotten used to it and rather enjoy some of the benefits that come along with it. Such as eating any yummy junk food that is in the house all by myself. Hehe!
Let's see...what is new...
I got a MacBook...and it is lovely. The best part is that it came with a purple protective case!

Yes...I have fun with the webcam. That little girl I'm holding is my new niece, Paige!!!!! She is cute!!

I graduate this year!!!!! It seems very strange to me. I've always been the one who is at home, ya know? :P I'm taking PSEO classes while I can, which keeps me very busy...

And then I'm going to BIBLE SCHOOL!!!! Excitement! It'll be so great to finally be there as a student!
Anyway, I gotta go to bed..

Hello again everyone who is left on Xanga! Yes, so I'm updating...

Life has changed indeed for Cassie is gone and there are only the two of us original six left at home. Then Caleb leaves. meef.

Anyway...I really should try to update more although I don't...however, I have partially written in my mind before...it just never transfers to the computer world.. Woke up this morning and shut off my alarm and didn't get up...hehe, that happens often. Then I got up and of course it was freezing outside! EEK. I mean really. But thankfully on my way to take care of kids I had some warm cappucino! Lovely stuff. Poor Caleb didn't have any and had to endure the wonderful warm smell of it.

Okay, so this one little girl at KAMS is just the right height for this desk that is in this big room where the kids can play and she ALWAYS knocks her head into the corners and it is so horrible. Today she got one right on the top of her head and man! It looked like it hurt...but she only cries for a little bit and then goes off to play. She is amazing.

In other news since we have moved to a different state...there are different rules as to how and when you can get your drivers license...which stinks cause I was just about 4 months away from taking my drivers test.

We also had a girls weekend at Abby's house! Which was really really awesome!

We had mini Bible studies about God's thoughts, ate a ton of food and exercised and arm wrestled and did push-ups and watched veggie tales, and painted our nails (of course), and played games!

Youth group Christmas party coming up on Sunday that I am REALLY excited for! Hope there will be more snow so there will be more to throw or sled on or simply play in...

Hey everyone!

Wow, it has been a loong time since I've written...eep. Lots of stuff has happened! Got back from Russia, came back to a different house! Went to camp, more camps coming up! Uffda! I am tired. FLY was great! Loooong bus ride, crazy pictures from that bus ride... Lots of good electives and sessions! We were in the farthest building from the main building where we would have our sessions...so walking was a ton of fun. Riiiight. *rolls eyes* Oh well, we got a good workout. Went to TKD for the first time in a uberish long time! Twas fun! Man, I gotta head to bed and get some rest! Later all!
